Good morning! Welcome, and let me introduce you to my new series- the 'Sunday Journal'. The clue is in the title, really, but I've decided to create a place that can be filled with weekly thoughts, records, suggestions and general musings. Some of it (the 'Food Diary') is largely for my benefit, some of it is beauty related, and some of it is just because. I expect that as I get into the swing of things the format and content of this series will grow and evolve but for now, here's a snapshot of my week.

Wednesday// Porridge with Coconut Oil, Almond Butter & Blueberries; Banana; Strawberries; Beetroot & Buckwheat Risotto; Eat Naked Bounty Bar; Cumin Chicken with Mediterranean Vegetables and Quinoa. Tea Count: 1 Lemon & Ginger. Water Log: 2.1 L. 1 Chai Almond Latte.

Thursday// Banana Pumpkin Spice Smoothie; 1 Pack Nairin's Gluten Free Breakfast Biscuits; Strawberries; Eat Naked Salad- Brown Rice, Sweet Potato & Spinach Salad, Carrot & Cashew Salad, Broccoli Fritter, Sweetcorn Fritter; Left-Over Spaghetti Bolognese. 5 THINGS TO READ/ WATCH


  1. Something your parents have written- I read some of my mum's essays this week and it felt like such a treat.
  2. 'Shark' on BBC 1- It is the most amazing wildlife documentary. Don't worry if you don't like sharks, it's not scary.
  3. Rebecca's post on being in your 20's- I love these kinds of posts and it is absolutely spot on.
  4. Weng Yee's #TopShelfie on 9 Out of 10- reading through that is every beauty lovers dream. Go drool.
  5. With the relaunch of her blog Grace's Weekend Rituals have turned into Grace Notes... and it's bigger, better and more fabulous than ever!

  4. Brighton Burger Shack FINALLY being open when I wanted lunch!
  5. Enjoying the first rays of warm summer sun.
