First thing's first, since my last post something fabulous has happened... I got a lovely e-mail from Bloglovin' telling me I had 100 followers! Now, I firmly believe that blogging is in no way about the numbers and you should write about what you love and what makes you happy- how you want and when you want. But as much as that is true, it is so exiting to know that more people than just my mom (Hi, mom!) and my flatmates (Hi, girls!) want to read what I have to say.  It's exciting to to enter a community of so many wonderful and supportive people... down right emotional. So here is a big virtual thank you from me to you!

Now, on to content that relates to my photo! Featured above is the iconic and beautiful Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask (£22). I can't quite explain why it has taken me until now to mention this product because it is probably one of my most cherished possessions. I'm talking if I was forced to whittle my stash down to 10 beauty items... maybe even 5- this baby would make the cut without a second thought. Despite having heard so many great things about this, I put off buying it for months. At the time, I wasn't sure if my skin needed a moisture mask (turns out it did) so I started out with a budget friendly option to see how it went. If I liked it, I figured I might go for the big guns. I didn't like it. But I still wanted the big guns. And when I say wanted I mean really wanted. So after an incredibly long and arduous internal debate, I decided to brave the Origins counter (my local Origins lady and I don't have a great history). Story over and a year later and this gorgeous tube has gained a very special place in my stash.

Initially, I used this once a week as the final step to an indulgent Sunday facial. It has quite a rich texture so I'd smooth it all over my face and let it sink in over night. It smells of apricots- so that won it some major points from the get go... but it's also full of amazing ingredients. Glycerin, Hyaluronic Acid, Apricot Kernel Oil, Avocado Oil, Mango Butter and Japanese Seaweed all help instantly replenish dehydrated skin and help prevent future moisture loss. If you are looking for a wow product, this is the one. When you wake up in the morning your skin looks considerably refreshed, plumper and more vibrant. I absolutely love it. As things got a bit more serious between us, I started using a small, pea-sized amount every night as my moisturiser. It smells dreamy, it feels dreamy and I see a noticeable difference every morning. Can't fault that. And if my skin is feeling especially dehydrated (hello the morning after the night before... it happens to all of us) the tiniest amount of this in my morning moisturiser makes all the difference!
